It's a four letter world
Supposedly when said
Everything Is fine again
But how ?
How can a word
Not even a long one
Make up for unforgettable hurt
It can't !
The purpose of the word was plainly
Making the guilty feel better
Like it was a magic word
With which he clears his conscious
"I'm sorry , I didn't mean to break our promise"
"I'm sorry but I'm leaving"
"I'm sorry , I want a divorce"
"I'm sorry , I didn't mean to hurt you "
"I'm sorry..."
"I'm sorry..."
"I'm sorry ..."
It's a word that has been said
Too far too many times
That's it has lost it's meaning
It's a word said and sometimes
Not even meant
It's just a word
It's nothing

Broken Promises
"I'll be back soon" she promised
"Just play with your toys till then"
But the girl waited and waited
Until it was obvious that her mother
Was never to come home again
A broken promise
Shattered on the floor
Like so many others to come
He said he takes her
To be his lawfully wedded life
He said he'd be there
In sickness and in health
That'll he'll never leave
Till death do them apart
But he got bored
Decided to leave
To him marriage was just a game
A broken promise
Shattered on the floor
Like so many others to come
She pleaded with her only friend
"Don't hurt yourself,
It gets better "
She made her promise
Only to find her
Lifeless
On the cold bathroom floor
Like a broken promise
Shattered on the floor

So when she says
"I'll be okay , I promise"
Don't expect to be anything else but
A broken promise
Shattered on the floor

We Said ..

And for a while , it was true
We'd wear matching clothes
Walk at school with our heads held high
Never did we know that our plans weren't going to come true
Our plans of college
Our wild adventures to be
How we'd be at each other's weddings
Take our children to play dates
And make an all dessert restaurant too
When did i realize that our dreams have come to an end ?
When we hadn't talked for a month
When we saw each other at school ,
"Hi" we'd say and go our separate ways
This is the one friend i thought i'd never lose
When someone told me people change
You don't expect that you'll stay friend forever that long
Do you ?
I'd smile and say "We'll see"
I guess this is one of life's great lessons
Nothing lasts forever ...
Don't change
He tripped
He tripped so hard the fall broke his neck
But no one noticed
No one noticed because they were too busy laughing and highfiving
You know , human beings can be so mean somtimes
Or maybe they're just trying to fit in
One of the guys who tripped him used to be his friend
But under the pressure of "fitting in"
He changed !
The sci-fi books he used to love
disposed
The A+'s he use to get
became D's
His only true friend
Bullied by no other than him
And for what ?
School will end soon
The D's won't help
And surely neither will those fake friends
All you will be left with is regret
If only i didn't if only .....
So don't change my friend
If "fitting in" means bullying and making fun of people
Then i'm sure you'll be better of without it :) .

A Little Girl's Imagination
She is on a boat
Surrounded by amazing scenery
She could see white doves flying across the rainbow
She opens her eyes
She decides to close them again
She has wings
She's flying with the unicorns
She can see all the miserble people down on earth
She's over whelmed with happiness
She opens her eyes
She decides to close then again
She's with her brother
They're playing power rangers
She's the pink , He's the red
There on a quest to save the people of the city
And ofcourse like always ,they do
She opens her eyes
She decides to close them again
She's a fairy
With one swish of her wand
She puts a smile on everybody's face
